Young Ji, Program Coordinator

Young comes from a theatre arts background and has worked a variety of positions in production. He began as a production assistant, then as a production stage manager, company manager, and most recently producer based out of Los Angeles. He is excited to bring his skillset to the job training and workforce development program at ManifestWorks and help to strengthen the ManifestWorks community.

Sierra Gardner, Program Manager, ManifestMore

Sierra has a background in social services and workforce development with experience providing supportive services to foster youth and youth experiencing homelessness. She is passionate about working with others to overcome their own adversity, creating equitable and sustainable pathways to economic mobility, and fighting against systemic injustice. Outside of work, Sierra loves vintage furniture, estate sales, and beach trips with her dogs and partner.

Dan Seaver, Executive Director

Dan is the Executive Director and a co-founder of ManifestWorks and has built the organization from infancy in 2013. Dan oversees organizational strategy and partnerships, fundraising and new programming initiatives.

After a career in journalism and government, Dan spent a decade as a youth advocate while volunteering with kids incarcerated in Los Angeles County jails. . ManifestWorks is a response to that experience, a solution to the problem of system-impacted people blocked from their potential.

Dan graduated from Northwestern University, was a commissioner for the Los Angeles County Probation Department from 2014 - 2021, and lives in LA with his kid.



Alejandra Toledo, Program Manager, ManifestSupport

Alejandra is a Social Worker with a passion for promoting wellness and healthy living. As a first-generation Latina American woman raised in East Los Angeles, she has been a witness to intergenerational trauma, multicultural issues, and systemic injustice. Her lived experience inspired her to join the Prison Education Project as a volunteer at CRC, Norco were she provided incarcerated individuals with life skills, education, and assessed their goals for their reentry process. Alejandra also traveled to Uganda to facilitate courses such as Women’s Empowerment and Forgiveness and Healing for incarcerated individuals at Luzira’s Maximum Prison.

She has experience providing mental health services, life skills and psychoeducation to youth and adults affected by adversity and trauma. She enjoys working with diverse populations and emphasizes the importance of cultural competence. Alejandra practices evidence-based therapeutic modalities including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.

Thea Tindall, Manifest Support Coordinator

Born and raised in LA, Thea has a passion for helping people from diverse populations.

While completing a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver, she interned with ManifestWorks providing life skills sessions and offering therapeutic services. Following the completion of her Master’s, Thea went on to work at an outpatient substance abuse treatment facility, providing individual and group therapeutic services.

Thea practices a trauma-informed, culturally competent lens when working with clients focusing on a person-in-environment framework. Her personal motto is Never stop growing, and she spends her time outside of work trying new hobbies and visiting museums. Thea is excited to expand on the support available to participants and alumni at ManifestWorks.
